§ 10-207. Uncovered cellars, cisterns, and wells, a nuisance.

  • (a)

    No person shall keep, maintain, or allow on any premises owned or controlled by him, any open or uncovered cistern, cellar, or well, and the continued existence of such cistern, cellar, or well shall constitute a public nuisance.

    (b)

    Upon written notice by the City, the person keeping, maintaining, or allowing such uncovered cistern, cellar, or well shall cover, or otherwise fill in such and level the same.
