§ 13-1002. Licensing for contractors and journeymen.

(a)

No person shall install, service, alter, or repair on consumer premises any gas equipment, pipes or lines as a contractor or journeyman in that trade without having first obtained a license as provided in this chapter.

(b)

No corporation, partnership or business shall engage in the installation, service, alteration or repairing on consumer premises any gas equipment, pipes or lines without an appropriate contractor as an active officer of the corporation or an active member of the firm, and the name and address of such contractor and the name and address of the corporation or firm shall be certified and registered with the Clerk.
