§ 15-711. Court: Parental responsibility for juvenile court fines.

Any person who is a parent, legal guardian, or legal custodian of a juvenile defendant shall assure the Municipal Court that any fines assessed against the juvenile shall be promptly paid. If fines assessed against a juvenile in juvenile court remain unpaid after ninety (90) days, the fines, along with administrative fees and court costs, shall be assessed against the parent, legal guardian, or legal custodian. Any person who fails to remit the assessed amount within fifteen (15) days from issuance of a summons shall be guilty of an offense.
