§ 20-109. Crosswalk.

  • A crosswalk is that portion of a street:

    (1)

    At an intersection included within the connections of the lateral lines of the sidewalks on opposite sides of the streets measured from the curbs, or in the absence of curbs from the edges of the traversable roadways; or

    (2)

    At an intersection or elsewhere which is distinctly indicated for pedestrian crossing by lines or other markings on the surface of said street.
