§ 20-112. Emergency vehicle.

  • An emergency vehicle is any vehicle of the Fire and Police Departments, and ambulances or other vehicles of municipal departments or public service corporations so designated by the City Manager, when such vehicles are responding to emergency calls or pursuing actual or suspected violators of the law, and during such response or pursuit the vehicle in motion sounds an audible signal (such as a bell or siren) and displays a pulsating red light.
