§ 20-806. Parking, stopping, and standing prohibited within certain distances.

  • No person shall park, stop, or stand a vehicle:

    (1)

    Within ten (10) feet of an alley intersection;

    (2)

    Within fifteen (15) feet of a fire hydrant;

    (3)

    Within twenty (20) feet of a crosswalk;

    (4)

    Within thirty (30) feet of any flashing signal, stop sign, or traffic control signal;

    (5)

    Within thirty (30) feet of any fire station driveway, or when so signed, within seventy-five (75) feet on the side of the street opposite the entrance to a fire station;

    (6)

    Within thirty (30) feet of points on the curb immediately opposite the ends of a safety zone;

    (7)

    Within fifty (50) feet of the nearest rail or railroad crossing;

    (8)

    So as to double park within fifty (50) feet of a street intersection;

    (9)

    Within fifty (50) feet of any intersection without crosswalks.
