§ 2-101. Council agenda.

  • (a)

    The City Manager shall prepare an agenda specifying the order of business for each regular meeting of the City Council.

    (b)

    Once prepared, a copy of such agenda and support material shall be furnished, without cost, as far in advance of the applicable scheduled meeting as practicable to:

    (1)

    Each member of the City Council,

    (2)

    Any City employee as the City Manager deems appropriate,

    (3)

    The Pioneer Multi-County Library,

    (4)

    Any public media requesting a copy.

    (c)

    Furthermore, a copy of the specific item agenda and the support material therefor shall be furnished without cost to that person, applicant, his agent or attorney who has:

    (1)

    That item appearing on that particular agenda,

    (2)

    Paid to the City his applicable fee for such, and

    (3)

    Specifically requested in writing that he be supplied with that item and the support material therefor.

    (d)

    Except for matters specifically exempted by the City Manager, all other requests, reports, communications, ordinances, resolutions, contract documents, or other matters proposed for the City Council's consideration shall be submitted to the City Manager no later than 5:00 p.m. at least seven days preceding the City Council meeting in which it is to be considered, though this time limit may be administratively lengthened by the City Manager.

    (e)

    The City Manager shall be required to place policy and budget items on the agenda of the City Council meetings when three (3) Councilmembers request it.
