§ 13-1205. Dangerous animal permit.

(a)

A dangerous animal may be kept within the City limits only so long as the owner, harborer, possessor or keeper complies with the requirements and conditions in accordance with the dangerous animal restriction as outlined in Chapter 3 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Norman.

(b)

An Animal Welfare Supervisor or Animal Welfare Officer(s) may, upon complaint or on their own initiative, inspect any structure or place licensed with a dangerous animal permit with at least one (1) inspection being conducted annually at such licensed location.

(c)

Notification requirements for keeping or maintaining a dangerous animal must be in compliance with conditions in accordance with Sections 13-1202 and 13-1203 as outlined in Chapter 13 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Norman.
