§ 1. Code adopted; when in effect; how cited.

(a)

The Code of ordinances as prepared by the City Legal Department and published by the Municipal Code Corporation of Tallahassee, Florida, pursuant to Contract K-7576-2, consisting of Chapter 1 to 22 is hereby adopted and enacted for the City of Norman, Oklahoma, and shall go into effect immediately upon the passage and approval of this ordinance and at the same time this ordinance goes into effect.

(b)

The Code may be cited as "Code of the City of Norman, Oklahoma, 1976" or by short title "Code of the City". When a change or changes have been prepared and inserted in said Code, as provided hereinbelow, the words "as amended" may be added to the above citation or title when referring to the Code as amended.
